<p>At Portland Actors Ensemble, our mission is to bring financially-accessible, classical theater to Portland communities in a variety of environments. Over forty-three years and counting, our summer Shakespeare-in-the-Parks productions have become a cherished tradition for thousands of families.&nbsp; Embracing the natural beauty of the parks and outdoor spaces of our Great Pacific Northwest, PAE has become the longest continuously operating theatre company in Portland. We believe in enhancing the quality of life in our community by increasing public access to live theatre, offering our performances free of charge to all audiences and allowing anyone to appreciate the splendor of Shakespeare's works.</p>
