<p>Regina Compton holds a B.M. in Clarinet Performance from Southern Methodist University and an M.M. in Music History from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Musicology from Eastman School of Music; her research interests include Baroque music, particularly Handel’s opera seria. <br /><br />Regina is an award-winning pedagogue and musicologist. Most recently, she was the 2011 recipient of the Eastman Teaching Assistant Prize for Excellence in Teaching, the 2011 winner of the Jerald C. Graue Fellowship, and the 2012 winner of the American Handel Society's J. Merrill Knapp Research Fellowship. Regina has presented at conferences across the globe, from Montreal, Canada to Graz, Austria. </p>
