At USC film school I was told the fastest way to direct is to write. I took that to heart. My thesis script became a CBS- GE Theater TV movie - TWO OF A KIND with George Burns, Robbie Benson and Cliff Robertson. That led to lots of writing jobs and within 5 years I was directing my first mini-series. TV was a great career, but I've always wanted to write and direct features. Now 34 years and over 80 credited TV primetime hours later, I have made my first feature -- COMING THROUGH THE RYE.
