Washington, D.C. native, Kat Blu, was first heard on the London dance scene as the featured vocalist on Soulavengerz “I Can’t Stop” (Juno Records) and later, TJ Cases “Do It Again” (Cut-n-Play Records), which has since become a UK Garage anthem. Now, After performing on the covers circuit and working on a number of collaborative releases, Blu takes a turn homeward with her upcoming solo debut album, a collection of Blues-tinged soul written from the core of her life, due for release in 2014.
