<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: times new roman,times,serif;">Amber takes a lot of photos. She is one of the photographers at Stopped Motion Photography in Kirkland, Washington and she specializes in fine art and live event photography including theater, dance, and musical performances. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: times new roman,times,serif;">Amber has a deep love of playing with highlights and shadows in her photographic work and turning perception on its ear. Amber's work with the Edge of Propinquity has garnered her four awards so far, one in 2008 for the image "In, Through, Beyond" appearing the Kendrick series by Jennifer Brozek and another in 2009 and 2011 for the piece "Her Return", created for James A. Sulivan's Santa Maria, and in 2012 for "A Moment of Hope" for the story Squirm by Doug Goodman. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: times new roman,times,serif;">When not at shoots, Amber spends her spare time belly dancing and producing and performing in burlesque shows, writing software, playing games with her family and loved ones, and sleeping. No, scratch that last one, Amber doesn't have time for sleep.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: times new roman,times,serif;">She lives in Kirkland with her partner, daughter, and two cats.</span></span></p>
