My first book, <span style="font-style: italic;">Counter Culture: The American Coffee Shop Waitress </span>(2009 Cornell University Press) has received much success. It made the cover of <span style="font-style: italic;">Photographer's Forum</span>, and has been featured in <span style="font-style: italic;">The New Yorker, The Wall St. Journal, USA Today, LA Times</span>,<span style="font-style: italic;"> The San Francisco Chronicle, Ms. Magazine, Gastronomica, </span>and more than 20 others. The exhibition based on <span style="font-style: italic;">Counter Culture</span> made Southwest Airlines' top ten list of things to see in the US and ABC has optioned the book for a TV series.<br></p> </div> </div>
