The Mission is 'Time Based Art' at the Mission for Temporal Art (MTA)
The MTA is a nascent organization dedicated to Art in any Media that thrives in Time and engages the human perceptual apparatus in direct embrace. Headquartered in a hundred year old church in the unspoiled mountain town of Marshall NC the MTA seeks to build a sustainable not for profit shelter and residency program offering research and exhibition space to artists working in Temporal Media and in turn introducing works realized by these artists in situ to new regional audiences in Western NC.
