<p>Described as "a rising young talent on the Philadelphia scene" and "a brilliant writer", Brittany Holdahl has been active in the Philadelphia theatre scene since 2008 as both an actress and recently as a playwright.</p> <p>Her first play ever produced was the uproariously comical short&nbsp;<em>Groundhogs</em>, which debuted in Philadelphia Dramatist Center's &amp; Secret Room Theatre's&nbsp;<em>Best of Primary Stages... Part Too!</em>&nbsp;in April 2012.<br /><br />Mayan Chowder &amp; Other Tales is a collection of Miss Holdahl's other short comedic plays, all of which have been hailed as "endearing, hilarious, and touching... all at the same time." &nbsp;Brittany's writing is renowned for its use of "strong characters... smart and lively dialogue, and... compelling visual [imagery]." &nbsp;Brittany is also renowned for her excellent hand turkey drawings.<br /><br />Miss Holdahl is a native of Northeast Philadelphia and a recent Temple University graduate. &nbsp;Her favorite color is green (unless it's pink). &nbsp;Contrary to popular speculation, Brittany has never been convicted of a crime. &nbsp;Nor is she actually a man. &nbsp;She is also going to stop referring to herself in third-person as it makes her feel awkward.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR GENEROUS CONTRIBUTIONS!!!</p>
