<p>Michael de Yoanna is a Colorado-based freelance reporter and documentary filmmaker. In 2011, he won a national Edward R. Murrow award for investigative radio reporting and holds more than one dozen other professional awards. His work has appeared in Salon.com, The Washington Times, The New York Times online and many other places. He has also consulted to several CBS News programs and has appeared as an expert on veterans issues on “48 Hours Mystery” and NPR’s “Morning Edition.” He occasionally blogs and tweets, is handy with a camera and edits film. Michael is currently finishing “Recovering,” a documentary film about injured war veterans and planning two other documentary films.</p>
