<p>I've been singing and playing the violin since I was a young child. I've always like putting words to music, but I started seriously writing songs in high school. By college I was starting to consider performing them, but since you physically can't properly play the violin and sing at the same time, I taught myself basic piano. I've been performing with other musicians in from of people for over 10 years. I've played on church worship teams, in many music groups, done solo performances at weddings, conferences, Christmas presentations and more (I now run a side business doing event music); I've done studio time for other artist's CD and DVD projects, been in a traveling choir and singing trio, and much more. I've had the privilege of playing with musicians in Scotland and Bulgaria when I was there on missions trips.<br /><br />I am America, but true love brought me to the wonderful land of Canada. Me and my husband met in college and had been best friends for years when we finally started dating. He is my inspiration; without him I wouldn't have even known about Indiegogo, and I wouldn't have had the courage to start this CD project.<br /><br />I'm fun, outgoing, and I love bright colors. I love to read, particularly historical fiction. I love traveling to new countries and learning new languages and experiencing new cultures. I design beaded jewelry and make figurines out of modeling clay, and dabble in drawing as well.
