Passionate for People

I'm passionate and follow my heart with gusto. It surprises people, I think. By the time I was 14, I knew I'd live overseas helping impoverished people.

As a child, when I answered inquisitive grownups' query, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" they would always discourage me and say it was impossible.

There were a handful of people along the way that encouraged me and gave me hope. I know first hand its empact.

I'm following my dream, and believe that all people, great and small should have that chance.

I married my husband Johnny when I was 19 years old. We live with our family in Nakuru, Kenya, East Africa since January 2005. Two of our biological children were born here, and we added 9 orphan/abandoned girls to our family begining in 2007.

Some folks say, "You're just a mom." But I tend to be the kind of person who gives my ALL in everything I do. So yeah. I'm 'just a mom,' but I'm a good one.

Just as strongly as I believe in following my dreams, I feel my children, all 14 of them, should have the same chance to follow theirs.

We are giving these orphans-no-more A Future and a Hope.
