Blackpool is calling me!

I'm a writer, and I'm planning this trip to do research. But there is something deeper lurking below the surface of this trek across the globe. Ever since I saw the BBC mini-series Blackpool, which takes place in that city in England, I have been obsessed with seeing it in person. After I saw pictures of landmarks there, I realized that I've been dreaming about a city I had never heard of for most of my life! I am MEANT to go to Blackpool! I can't wait to find out why Blackpool is calling to me!
