Learning to be a Midwife, Step 1
I have finally discovered my passion and career goal: midwifery! I will begin my journey of education, trainings, testings and applications on January 21st, 2014 and I am so very excited to be anything but stagnant. My experiences from being a Community Health Development Worker with the Peace Corps in Burkina Faso from 2010 to 2012 allowed me to quell my fears of working in the medical field and jump in head first.
