Kansas City-based Composer
Greg Mackender has been composing and designing sound in the Kansas City area since 1985. He is the resident composer for the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, and has been in the park every season. He is a founder and resident composer for the Kansas City Actors Theatre, most recently composing for 'Long Day's Journey Into Night', named 'Best Show of the Year' by the Kansas City Star. Past composing residencies have included The Coterie and Missouri Repertory Theatres.
