Terrell is a graduate film student at Columbia College of Chicago. She is an award-winning Chicago-based journalist and filmmaker whose articles and interviews have appeared in The Huffington Post, Al Jazeera, Essence, Glamour, POZ, Ebony.com, Uptown and The Advocate to name a few. She is currently a health reporter for BET.com. Her first film, Goodnight My Love, a Black lesbian zombie love story, is currently on the film festival circuit having screened at the Pan African Film Festival,
