Danica's Life

I am a 24 year old girl from Canada, normal in every sense of the word until I found myself paralyzed from a spinal cord injury in February 2013. This was a huge setback on my path to adulthood, but it changed my outlook on life completely. I would say that I'm now more gentle, caring and patient than i ever could have imagined that I would be. I feel as if I have a purpose now, I'll be studying social work in school and hope to work with disabled people in the future.
