Yin Marsh

Author, ESL Teacher, Citizen of the World

Born in Calcutta, India, in 1949, and raised in Darjeeling. Was interned in Deoli, Rajasthan in 1962 as a result of the India-China Border War. Eventually emigrated to the U.S and became a citizen. Received a Bachelor's of Arts Degree from the American University, Washington, D.C. in 1971. Now living in Berkeley, California. Wrote "Doing Time With Nehru" in 2012, a memoir of the years spent in India. Now part of the Voices of Deoli Team.
