The K9 Hero Portrait Project Artist
I am the artist and backbone of The K9 Hero Portrait Project, a program that donates portraits of military, police, SAR and service K9's to their soldiers, handlers and adoptive owners (retired K9's) I have been painting animal portraits for over 15 years but recently started this project after seeing media coverage of several K9's killed in action and watching their handlers grieve over them just like they would if the K9 were a human child. I knew this is what I wanted to do for them.
