Shirley Bruno

Shirley is a Haitian American filmmaker originally from NYC and rural Massachusetts. She had adventurous stints as a doc filmmaker and designer before going to the London Film School for an MA in Filmmaking. Her shorts The Things I See and Swallowed Lessons have screened at international fests in the UK, Canada, Caribbean, and New York. She is the recipient of the New York Foundation on the Arts Fellowship. Her first feature in development has received seed funding from the NYSCA.
