<p align="left">Geoffrey Quan is an independent director and producer.&nbsp; His short films and productions have been nominated for two Student Academy Awards and have shown internationally at over 50 festivals, including Sundance, Directors&rsquo; Fortnight, New Directors/New Films, Clermont-Ferrand, SXSW, and Tribeca.&nbsp; Geoff&rsquo;s work has been sponsored by HBO Films, RHI Entertainment, the Film Arts Foundation, and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.&nbsp; He was a 2009 BRIO Award winner, a recipient of the 2009 IFP Marcie Bloom Fellowship in Film, a 2011 directing fellow in Film Independent&rsquo;s Project: Involve, and is currently a 2012 fellow for the Center for Asian American Media.&nbsp; Geoff has taught filmmaking at Columbia University and Sarah Lawrence College, and has directed videos for New York Magazine and The Wall Street Journal.&nbsp; </p> <p align="left">Geoff wrote and directed THE OTHER WAY ROUND (Faculty Honors, Columbia University Film Festival; LA Shorts Fest; New York International Latino Film Festival; San Diego Asian Film Festival), directed HIGH CARD TRUMPS (Short Shorts Film Festival &ndash; Tokyo, GI Film Festival, Pan African Film Festival, San Diego Black Film Festival), and co-wrote and directed BE STILL (Sarasota Film Festival).&nbsp; He has produced eight shorts, including John Magary's THE SECOND LINE (Grand Jury Prize for Short Film, AFI Dallas International Film Festival; Special Jury Award, South by Southwest; Sundance International Film Festival; Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival), Nelson Kim&rsquo;s LONG DISTANCE (Palm Springs Shortfest, San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, Asian American International Film Festival), and Ambarish Manepalli&rsquo;s A WINK OF THE EYE (Special Citation, Palm Springs Shortfest; Jim Teece Audience Award for Best Short Film, Ashland Independent Film Festival; Rhode Island International Film Festival).&nbsp; He recently produced the independent feature drama DETONATOR, which will premiere in 2012, and served as production coordinator on the feature documentary, PROJECT NIM, directed by Academy Award winner James Marsh (MAN ON WIRE).&nbsp; Geoff is developing two feature projects, Ambarish Manepalli&rsquo;s romantic comedy, COWBOYS VERSUS INDIANS, and Nelson Kim&rsquo;s psychological thriller SOMEONE ELSE.&nbsp; He is a graduate of Columbia University&rsquo;s MFA film program and the University of California at Berkeley.&nbsp; He lives and works in Los Angeles.</p>
