A biomedical scientist trying to make a difference in the world

I struggled with obesity as a kid and know how hard it is lose weight and keep it off. My passion to develop new strategies to fight obesity stems from this personal experience and has been my driving force for the past 12 years. My PhD was on the mechanisms underlying obesity, and my MPH in epidemiology led to a major textbook on the design and implementation of clinical studies. I'm a proud graduate of Skidmore College - Go Thoroughbreds!
