MAS, acronimo di Magazzini allo Statuto, apre i battenti all’inizio degli anni ’30 come il magazzino di lusso più grande di Roma. Di quell’epoca sono rimasti lampadari a mezz’aria, quasi al livello del suolo ora rivestito di moquette spelacchiata. Insegne al neon sfrigolanti hanno sostituito le eleganti scritte di bachelite e i Mas sono diventati i magazzini del Popolo. Le riprese e parte del budget sono state sostenute con il generoso contributo di GUCCI.
