Gentrified

Ooooh Yeah. Productions was formed in the Winter of 2011 by Allison Taylor and Emily Tarpey. With the goal of providing and creating projects that highlight their own unique sense of humor, gentrified: A New Web Series marks their first venture together as creative partners and producers.

Alli and Emily met freshman year of college and have remained the best of friends ever since. Upon graduation of college, both immediately went to work in the entertainment industry: Alli in production and Emily as an actress, and found initial success in their respective jobs.

Alli is currently at Alex Coletti Productions, where she has worked on such projects as the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Washington, DC, the Teen Nick Halo Awards in Los Angeles, the annual World Wide Day of Play for Nickelodeon, Muhammed Ali's 70th Birthday Party in Las Vegas for ESPN and ABC, various UnPlugged Episodes for MTV, and many more.

Meanwhile, Emily has been hard at work on stage and in front of the camera. With numerous regional and off-broadway credits, ranging from Ken Davenport's Awesome 80's Prom at Webster Hall to the Tony Award winning creators of Urinetown's newest musical, Yeast Nation, Emily has been making her way through the New York theater scene. In addition, she has various commercials and short films to her credit, as well as her most recent starring feature film role in the Face to Face Films production, Shadows of Life.

However, the actual duo of Emily and Alli together is always overwhelming to those around them, as they are constantly making up skits, bits, and jarring remarks. Therefore, they decided to take their unique personalities and combine them with their skills in the industry to overwhelm people in a more uniformed manner of entertainment. Ooooh Yeah. Productions is their solution.
