BirdLife Malta works to protect birds and nature on the Maltese islands.

BirdLife Malta has been protecting the birds and wildlife of the Maltese islands for more than fifty years. We have set up nature reserves to ensure the best areas are alive with birds, undertake research to find our how we can conserve the birds that depend on these islands and educate children and the wider public about the natural world. One of the biggest problems on Malta is the impact of hunting and trapping on birds and we campaign to ensure they are better controlled.
