Bamboo Jack is a design and build collective specialising in sustainable and innovative bamboo architecture. Post Typhoon Haiyan, Bamboo Jack is working alongside the NGO, Leyte Centre for Development to construct a new large scale community pavilion. Bamboo is their chosen building materials and the project aims to be a strategic fit. The building will be a training centre for the charity, a relief shelter for the adjacent town and vehicle for sharing knowledge of typhoon resistant design.
