<p><strong>Erika Vivianna Céspedes</strong> is a 24 year old Colombian jot@ artist, organizer, childcare provider, and long-term community college student. She has been actively involved with numerous Bay Area arts education and youth development organizations including Precita Eyes Muralists, BRAVA! For Women In the Arts, and QWOCMAP (Queer Women of Color Media Arts Project). In 2011 Erika was a writer for the Intersection of the Arts, <em>Interdisciplinary Writer’s Lab, </em>she<em> </em>hosted and performed at the literary event<em> Queeriosity, </em>and read new work at<em> Jot@s, Studs, Fa’afafines, and Homothugs to the 2nd Spirit</em> as part o<em>f </em>The 14th Annunal Queer Arts Festival. In 2012, Erika has been an Artist-In-Residency at Everett Middle School in the Mission District of San Pancho, she had her writing published online by<em> </em><a href="http://www.siliconvalleydebug.org/articles/2012/01/13/moraga-puts-things-right-new-fire">Debug</a> and <a href="http://www.reproductivejusticeblog.org/2012/05/on-coming-out.html">Forward Togethe</a><a href="http://www.reproductivejusticeblog.org/2012/05/on-coming-out.html">r</a><em>, </em>and is also a committee organizer for the Transformative Music and Poetry Track for The <a href="http://alliedmedia.org/">Allied Media Conference</a>.</p> <p>She enjoys all things related to cumbia and Spanglish, and currently mentors high school youth with <a href="http://www.67suenos.org/">67 Sueños</a> and as a Program Associate of Civic Engagement for the literary arts organization, <a href="http://youthspeaks.org/">Youth Speaks</a>. <em>Stories of Queer Diaspora</em> is her first independent curatorial arts project. </p>
