<p>I started DawgArt pet portraits in 2003: acrylic on canvas paintings in vivid colors inspired by the desert Southwest. Over the years, I've been privileged to paint hundreds of pets and met hundreds of people who are passionate about animals and animal rescue. I donate a portion of my proceeds back to animal rescues through artwork they can auction to raise funds for direct care.</p> <p>My goal in creating artwork: to capture the soul of an animal on canvas and make someone smile!</p>
