I am an entrepreneur, coffee roaster, author, farmer, and home brewer.

I started my first business at age 19, a fashion design business. For most of my life I have honed my small business skills in many ways: Working for small businesses, doing public outreach & running a small local office for Greenpeace, startup/managed a home-brew supply business for 15 years. A few years ago I also wrote a book (Sustainable Homebrewing). In 2011 I started a farm based business, Hidden Fortress. This evolved into Hidden Fortress Coffee which is still growing today.
