It's better to have an impossible dream than no dream at all.

I believe that some of the most important things in everyone's life are to do what you really love and feel thrilled and proud about your work.

It took me 5 years of university and 8 years of quite successful career in marketing & customer service to realize that. So in summer 2007 I quit the full-time job to follow my childhood dream of making movies and joined Video & Film Production at Columbia Academy. From that day on I never regret my decision.

Endless days, sleepless nights, burns & bruises, frustration and delight, tears of joy & tears of sorrow - I sincerely enjoy every moment on set and behind the camera.

Thanks to my super-supportive family and to many talented and inspired artists that I met on the rocky road of filmmaking, I can call myself an indie filmmaker now. During the past few years I independently produced several short films and TV Drama Series "Life with an accent" that premiered in Greater Vancouver on Shaw Multicultural Channel in October 2010 and on Shaw TV in January 2011. My very first short documentary "RAK the world" made while in school with my classmates won the 3rd place at the first 5 Minutes To Change Your World documentary contest in Vancouver, BC in March 2008. In December 2009 I was awarded with Columbia Academy Video & Film Production's Outstanding Single Project Producer of 2008/09 Award for my graduation project short film "Demon".

I freelance a lot as a Camera Operator on various independent projects.

At present I work as a Director and Camera Operator at the local community channel YANA TV.
