When I graduated high school I new that I wanted to grow food and help people grow in community. Instead of formal college I spent the next seven years traveling to different farms, communities and schools in the USA, South America and Thailand to learn about sustainable ways of living. My travels and education helped me to refine skills as well as build confidence and humbleness in teaching them. Back in 2007 I ended up in Appalachia and decided this was home.
