Roger Omeus Jr. is a first generation Haitian American born in Brooklyn N.Y. Having a love for film and television at an early age, Roger wrote and directed a High School drama while attending St. Benedict's Prep in Newark N.J. He pursued another of his talents in photography and went on to work at the world's leading photography studio, Pier 59 Studios in New York City. Roger reconnected with his original dream by writing and directing a feature film entitled "FINDING ME”. His directorial debut went on to be distributed by TLA Video and to the surprise of Roger and all involved with his project, there was a demand for a sequel. Finding Me: Truth has managed to exceed the first film in every way. Successfully reassembling his great cast and production team, this project was completed in 2009 and also distributed by TLA Releasing. Both films are produced under his company, OmeProductions LLC, whose vision is to portray the stories of underrepresented groups and maintains the slogan of - “Making Movies that Matter”!
