Our love of animals and children has been a prevailing theme in our lives, Over the past few years, they have become the purpose of our lives. A few years back, during a “motivational” weekend when I was entrenched in corporate life, I was asked, “ If you won the lottery tomorrow, if money were no object, what would you do with your time?” After very little thought, I blurted out “ open a farm based refuge for abused animals, children and the elderly”.
