Grad student, medic, first aid instructor, semi-pro baking machine

I am currently studying at Royal Roads University in the Human Security and Peacebuilding MA program. When I don't have papers spread through out the house trying to meet a deadline I'm doing crossfit with my husband, running a volunteer program, playing with our dog Javier or baking up a storm in the kitchen. I also teach first aid part time and recently became a licensed medic. I'm getting heading to Uganda in June for 6 months to do research in the oil sector.
