Saxophonist and composer Elijah Jamal Balbed is an award-winning saxophonist in the Washington, DC area. A native of Silver Spring, Elijah attended Howard University from 2008-2011 and was the featured soloist in the Howard University Jazz Ensemble (HUJE).
