Daniel Husserl

<p>I'm an eco-entrepreneur and am crazy about travel, nature and surfing. Recently I co-founded a sustainable furniture company Aellon (<a title="www.aellon.com" href="http://www.aellon.com">www.aellon.com</a>).&nbsp; We make beautiful, well-designed furnture from reclaimed materials. Prior to Aellon, I was Founder &amp; President of NaturalProgression, a strategy consulting firm that works with corporations to reduce their environmental and social impacts. We've had some big successes along the way, and some of my projects have been featured in the New York Times, W Magazine, Treehugger.com and on CNN.</p> <p>I was born in Lake Tahoe, CA, which is likely why I love adventuring. After Cali, my family moved to the beaches of NJ where I learned to surf. My travels abroad, specifically my experiences with foreign cultures made me realize how similar we all really are. That realization shaped my desire to build a positive impact into everything I do.</p> <p>I have a dual BA in Finance and Marketing from Syracuse University and a Masters in Environmental Management from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. I've also been a vegan for 16 years, but can't stand tofu.</p>
