Laura X is an activist archivist, legislative reformer, author,editor, and publisher. Born in St. Louis in 1940, she now lives Berkeley and St. Louis.

Vassar College, Bank Street College of Education, U of Puerto Rico, U of Vera Cruz, NYU/Gerde's Folk City, UC-Berkeley,'71. Headstart teacher Bronx and El Barrio, CORE picket captain in Brooklyn .Now a part-time volunteer curator of her collections at U of M-St Louis: women's, peace, civil rights, Free Speech, educational reform, anti-war, anti-nuke, anti-semitism and homophobia, Farm Workers, Native American, ecology, disability rights, environmental health, and healthy home movements.
