The Online Musical

Charlottesville, Virginia, United States

<div>"The Online Musical" is a collective of poor college students producing original, interactive musical theater content on the Internet. We started with what was considered&nbsp;by&nbsp;Playbill, Backstage, and the Washington Post to be&nbsp;the first-ever, interactive online musical.&nbsp;"Musical: The Online Musical" was a 10-episode, two hour web series in which the YouTube audience sent in ideas every week to determine the plot. To watch the full musical about a guy who realizes that his life is a musical, go to <a href="http://theonlinemusical.com/" title="theonlinemusical.com" target="">theonlinemusical.com</a>.</div><div><br></div><div>With "M:TOM" under our belt, we need your help for our next project. Over the next three months, we'll be producing three mini musicals. They will be 10-15 minutes in length, free on the web, and centered around the best topics submitted by our viewing audience. Is there a pop culture icon, a historical moment or a metaphysical concept that you think would make an awesome musical? Then submit your ideas to theonlinemusical@gmail.com or, if you're in the position to do so, any monetary support you can offer&nbsp;would go a long way in making this project possible.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Thank You,&nbsp;</div><div>Jeff, Matt and Stelios</div><div><br></div>
