Queer Youth Theater

We are a ensemble of 7 youth and 3 adult co-directors creating devised theatre in New Orleans.

The New Orleans Queer Youth Theater (NOQYT) is an independent organization fiscally sponsored through Alternate ROOTS. The organization engages queer and allied youth throughout New Orleans in examining queer identity and experience through performance. We seek to create transformative space for LGBTQ youth and their allies to learn, discuss and perform their stories.
