Hi! My name's Laura Moody and I'm an alt-cellist, vocalist and songwriter. My music inhabits a fun but rather hard to categorise space somewhere between pop, singer-songwriter tradition and the avant garde. In writing and performing my songs I'm inspired to bring together all the seemingly disparate parts of my experience - the multitude of genres I've encountered in my career, including over a decade in the innovative Elysian Quartet - to express myself in the most authentic way I know how.
