Living the Dream in Snohomish, Washington

Four years ago I was a single mother working hard to make ends meet with my two kids, in Redmond, Washington. Scott and I met and learned we could make wonderful art together, and so we soon uprooted our individiual lives and moved to Snohomish. I was hired by an investor to plan and open a paint your own pottery studio, and only a few months after the store opened, the investor backed out. Faced with closing the store we'd built or trying to keep it going, Scott and I worked tirelessly at making it what it is today - a place where people can come to make mosaics, paint pottery, slump bottles, paint on canvas, enjoy special family time, have a fun night out with friends, learn arts and crafts at summer camp, and have a ladies' get together at Pinterest Playdate. Not having our own money to invest in the store means that it's had to be self sustaining from the very beginning - and we're proud to say that it is! We love being able to have a place where people can come to create, and we hope that we're helping families make great memories together.
