I do stunts. I love Jesus. That pretty much sums it up.
<p>God put a pang in my heart regarding human trafficking about a year ago. I responded by giving my birthday to the Polaris Project, but that feeling never left me. When I heard about a group of people from my church, Mosaic, going to serve Light Bangladesh, I knew I had to be there. Initially I wondered what I could bring to the table as a stunt performer with no notible background in social work or international justice. But then Troy, who helps run Light Bangledesh, asked me if I could maybe teach the girls basic self defense. I jumped on it.</p> <p>I'm excited and nervous for the trip, but I'm surrounded by a group of powerful women, and more importantly: God's protection. I beleive that as a Christian we are the ones who are supposed to show God's love to those who may have never seen it in action. Thank you so much for taking some of the financial burden off of this trip! With your contribution, you're fullfilling what Jesus calls us to do in Matthew 25:35-40 when He says: "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."</p>
