Gordon Skene And His Life-long Journey Through Sound

Two-time Grammy nominee, author and sound historian Gordon Skene began his archive by accident on November 22, 1963. Since that day, he has amassed an archive of over a quarter million recordings and has provided historic sound clips to Movies, TV projects and Commercials. He has assisted other archives in a wide range of historic projects and collaborations. He has provided materials to PBS, NPR, Microsoft and runs Past Daily, his website devoted to sharing the collection with everyone.
