Poet

Amber West is a poet, educator, and theater maker. Her writing has appeared in journals and anthologies such as Calyx, Rhizomes: Cultural Studies in Emerging Knowledge, and The Routledge Companion to Puppetry & Material Performance. Her poetry chapbook, Daughter Eraser, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2015 and The Word Works published her full-length collection, Hen & God, in 2017. She teaches writing at UCLA, directs Alphabet Arts, and serves on the board of directors of Oye Group.
