Unfortunately I listened to the wrong people who told me that it's impossible to make a career for yourself following what you love... So I turned my back on the things I was most passionate about and pursued a pragmatic future in corporate America. <br><br>The funny thing about dreams is, when you sleep, they rule. 7 years deep into my corporate career, I found myself dreaming in complete stories - full feature length films. I may have given up on my passion but it hadn't given up on me. <br><br>Now, while I could have came up with any number of excuses from "well, I'm married now with two little girls. This is not the right moment to be wasting time and throwing away money on a dream..." to "I've never been to film school." I had done enough living to know what I was capable of. Besides, I had enough of people convincing me what is and isn't possible. It was time for me to follow these dreams so I could get back to sleeping well at night.<br><br>3 years later, I'm a filmmaker and getting better and better at it each time.<br>
