My career began in 1981 with my co-creator Mike Baron and my groundbreaking Nexus comic series. This space saga catapulted me into the field of comics, where my efforts led to numerous awards, such as the 1984 Russ Manning Newcomer Award, the Kirby Award for best artist in 1986, and numerous for artistic achievement. For over two decade I have drawn hundreds of comic greatest iconic heroes, and have galvanized the art world as a comic magazine artist and illustrator.
