Tripp Weathers

Filmmaker, geek, baller, husband and Tar Heel!

Born in Shelby, NC and graduated from UNC in 1993. Tripp moved to Wilmington, NC in 1999. While in Wilmington he founded a production company, wrote/directed commercials, industrials and cable tv episodes. In 2006 he moved to Los Angeles to further pursue filmmaking. He is a partner at LA Grip Productions and spends his mornings trading options. He is an avid comic book collector. His latest film "The Last Session" (Teri Polo, John DeLancie) played at 8 festivals and won several awards.
