Shoshana Wineburg
Gedera, Israel
Shoshana Wineburg was raised in Seattle, Washington. She graduated from Stanford University in 2009 with a B.A. in American Studies. Shoshana spent last year living and studying in Jerusalem. It was important for her to return to Israel this year to focus on "doing" rather than just "learning." In Gedera, Shoshana volunteers with the local high school, works with the "Homework at Home" program, serves as an English mentor with an organization called "Olim Beyachad," and co-leads the fifth and sixth grade hiking group. Shoshana also collaborated with Jacob to design and develop the Open Space Program.
