DCTV’s mission is to foster diverse viewpoints and create social change by providing accessible media arts resources and producing impactful documentary films.

DCTV was founded in 1972 by Jon Alpert and Keiko Tsuno. For four decades, DCTV has provided low-cost equipment rentals, editing facilities, filmmaking/producing workshops, youth programs, and delivered countless award-winning documentary productions to broadcast air.
