I am an award-winning photographer (and graphic designer) based in Hamilton. I am also a 47 year old with Cystic Fibrosis. My diagnosis is considered a milder variant of the disease, but it is CF nonetheless. I was diagnosed about 8 years ago. Before that I had no idea, but looking back on my life I always had the symptoms, just no one ever knew it was CF (like incredibly salty sweat). It wasn’t until I was unable to have children I was finally diagnosed, with F508 del and L206T mutations.
