I am a native New Yorker who has had the pleasure of researching music in Haiti and in New York City's Haitian neighborhoods. As Executive Director of La Troupe Makandal, I develop public programs. White Cliffs Media Company published my book, The Drums of Vodou, and you may visit French and English versions of my Vodou Music in Haiti exhibit at www.lameca.org. I am currently documenting the life and legacy of Master Drummer Frisner Augustin for a web archive.
